John Draper served as Counsel of Record in the United States Supreme Court for the State of Kansas in Kansas v. Colorado, No. 137 Original, a suit to enforce the Arkansas River Compact.  Mr. Draper guided the litigation through 270 days of trial before a Special Master.  In that capacity, he argued before the Supreme Court on three occasions.  Kansas prevailed in the litigation, and was awarded $35 million in damages, as well as the entry of an injunction.
